Refurbished Kindergarten Saves Energy
03 October 2012, Vladičin Han
By fully renovating the kindergarten Pčelica and thus increasing energy savings in that facility, and by establishing the Energy Team, the Vladičin Han Municipality has made its first steps towards improving energy efficiency. Less energy will now be used to heat this institution for children during the winter thanks to the new isolation and doors and windows. The Energy Team, a newly-formed municipal unit, will focus on energy policy issues in the future. These endeavours were supported by the European Union and the Government of Switzerland via the developmental European Partnership with Municipalities Programme – EU PROGRES. The total value of the project stands at 128,000 EUR.
